The irony of life - I’m from Thailand, a country that’s known for the heat and the humidity, but I’m a “snow person” at heart. I love the white beautiful snow, the freezing cold weather, and how I didn’t shed one drop of sweat. .
❄️ I still remember the first time I got to see the snow. It wasn’t even a real one, pretty much white dusty flakes on the ground. I can’t even put into words of how much joy I had back then. I was 19 back then, but I swear I acted like a 5-year-old kid. Although this photo was taken during the third snow season I experienced back in my undergrad, but the feeling had been the same. .
❄️ Fast forward to the current date and time in Bangkok, Thailand. December supposedly is our “winter”. I’m talking about 25 degrees Celsius in Bangkok on the “best” day. A lot of people were complaining that it doesn’t feel like December at all. .
❄️ I’m guilty of that myself! Until I’ve realized that everything starts with our mindset. So, instead of whining about the heat, I like to say to myself that at least it’s getting cooler, at least I could run easier early in the morning, at least the night time is pleasant. And guess what!? The weather forecast says it will get nicer this week! Fingers crossed on that! .
or no snow, I will try my best to have that “jolly winter” attitude I used to have regardless.
