Life of an Architect
Sometimes you just have to explain how to lay out drawings on a sheet. We were all there once ... . . . . . . .

This post makes my day! It seems so obvious, and yet must always be explained!
Is it possible for a project to be successful after mirroring other projects with slight changes
I thought you learned that at school ;)
a simple concept once you are cogizant of its existence.
I believe I said study and guide, not look and copy.
thanks - but you can aim higher
duplication is not understanding. I’d much rather teach and give my people the ability to solve problems that they haven’t seen before
Not if you require them to study a proper set first and use that as their guide. The loss of draughtsman and supplanting them with recent graduates is not doing the profession any favors. I'll take a few good true draughtsman over a stable of graduates any day.
I just want to say thank you for the inspiration to keep me trying to up my game to be like you. Thank you.
The fact that schools don’t teach this and leave these interns in debt is outrageous.
And scary enough as it is, I both knew what you were saying and do it as well.
repeating to the same person would be a bit grating - luckily I rarely have that issue
awesome - this sort of stuff happens daily and now we have the technology to share these bits with others. I’m glad you approve
no - that was a different sort of convo (however, I left justify on the right, and right justify on the left)
Right justified eh?
It seems obvious, but as a newbie, it's nice to have someone explain this to you (speaking as the newbie)
is key 👌🏾
I have to do this more often than I like...
Just to say thank you - you sharing your thoughts on internet is helping a whole bunch of us just working our way up the skill and knowledge ladder :)
