🌜”Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves”🌛 (Carl Jung, one of the founders of psychoanalysis). Think about what it is in other people that really rubs you up the wrong way. People who are very comfortable expressing anger? Overly cautious people? People who love to be centre of attention? Now consider how you feel about that particular emotion or trait. How do you ‘do’ it, or express it, if at all? Where do these feelings go if they’re not expressed - do you internalise them? How do you feel about it? How did you learn about it growing up? The things that irritate us in others can be a great lesson about ourselves, our behaviour and our family and cultural history.
Tried #ZipLining today.. however, after multiple attempts I was not able to climb up the tree. Instead of soaring like an eagle over the #MabiraForest I remained on the ground frustrated and in tears! 😫Oh well, at least I tried! (and politely received a refund) #Lugazi#Uganda#RainForest 🇺🇬
