If you’re planning on lifting for the long haul, you should add these to your arm day to help strengthen and prevent overuse which can cause carpal and radial tunnel. No one wants to get injured and lose #gainz 😱😭 • • Mine occurred years into the world of work, but it can happen with any repetitive activity even in the #bodybuilding world. • • You can even do these at home or work with a water bottle or a can of food depending on grip/strength. Just rest your arm against a table hanging your wrist over the edge instead. The more you can bring it all the way up and down, the better - my mobility here is very limited. Follow @flexingpt and reach out to him if you need more guidance in your journey 💁🏼‍♀️ • • 📛I am not a doctor so if your pain is too severe and you grab your hand/arm for relief and comfort you need to get PT. Doing this #exercise without will cause more progression of the syndrome adding more scar tissue and ultimately more sessions of PT. I failed the EMG test so if your still having pain, go see another hand specialist. They’ll provide a cortisone shot to reduce inflammation and then the next week they’ll start ultrasound and massage to help breakup scar tissue along with these exercises after. #workingonmyfitness #stretching #armday #girlswholift #liftheavy

My sister and I went this morning in empty stomachs so we kind of cut it short. Honestly I had to go back and finish I haven’t had a really good leg day in weeks & I’m determined to keep them coming and stay consistent with training. Mind over matter: My biggest weakness is uphill. I can hike all day but I need to be fast. Snuck a last workout in Wednesday, 1.5 flat terrain, .30 miles at 10% grade, then prep for the bucket carry holding a 50lb weight on flat for .20 and at 8% for .10 nothing but stretching now till Big Bear. I suck at meal prepping. My ADHD and being a single mother simply will not allow me to dedicate all the time it takes to go grocery shopping, cooking, and packing meals. Especially when it’s sunny out 🤗 Plus I do not want to eat the same meal over and over. I love flavor and variety 🥗🌮🥑🥩🥦 🥞🥜🍒🍲 • • If you don’t have the time or energy for the process to consistently cook clean or start the #endodiet, Fit Republic has your back with a variety of your choice 💪🏻 They even have tasty #glutenfree donuts 🍩 I wish I had started my clean eating journey with them because I might not of cried so hard over French fries, nachos, and mac & cheese. LONG POST!!! I am more aware of my physical body change some days compared to other days! My diet often lacks what it needs for muscle growth, give a bitch a box of candy and it’s on! Poor choices, I know!!!! I say this as I enter my birthday month (June 11, in case y’all forgot) age is a number, but living the quality of life vs the quantity of life is very important, today I said out loud, 50 is closer than 21 years of age! I’ll be 47 in a few weeks. With that said, I went out for some retail therapy, who doesn’t love therapy? I have become an Adidas brand junkie. I tried on Size LG shorts, to find out they fit to big. I have never had this problem before in my life! WTF, why not try the next size down....that’s right “MEDIUM”.....I think I will always see myself as that chunky kid nicknamed “Kipper”. I bought the medium and felt brave enough to wear them to the gym. It was either going to look like a Palm Springs circuit party or a gay boy at the gym! What it was, a reflection in the mirror doing 175 lb squats for 2 sets, 12 reps! Plus more squats! Have I become obsessed with muscles and a thinner version of myself! HELL, yes I have. My maternal Grandmother lived to 101 year of age, my father the age of 65, I have that 50/50 chance for a long life. I am living for today, wearing my size medium gay Adidas shorts, happy AF.
