Today marks the 7th anniversary of the February 2011 earthquake - a time when Christchurch and Canterbury locals will come together to reflect on their shared experiences. The city has come an incredibly long way since that day on February 22 but the human impact and lives lost will never be forgotten. If you are local or visiting Christchurch it’s worth spending some time at the Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial on the corner of Montreal Street and Cambridge Terrace. There will be a civic service there at 12:30pm today.
OMG 😂 I was trying to think of a caption for this post and all I could think was that children’s song that goes...
🎵 “She’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes...” 🎵
And now it’s stuck in my head, and it’s probably in your head now too.
